My family migrated from Louisiana to West Texas during and after the Civil War. My particular branch settled in the El Paso/
Fabin Texas area. To my understanding, my grandfather was a rancher. He passed away before I was born, so I'm not sure of his first name. He had 6 children:4 boys; Dave, Paul, William and Robert and 2 girls Elizabeth and Kitty. I know they had aunts and uncles in the Shreveport, Louisiana area.
