Looking for info on the parents of Hezekiah Crissman, b.Mar. 2, 1805. Mar. to Elizabeth Crissman, b. Sept. 9, 1808. Mar. in Sinking Valley, Tyrone Twp., Huntingdon Co., PA , on May 27, 1827.
Hezekiah d. on Oct. 16, 1875 in Smicksburg, Indiana Co., PA, and is buried at Smicksburg. Elizabeth d. Dec. 7, 1889 in Smicksburg and is buried there.
They had the following children:Caroline L., b.Jul. 2, 1831; Catherine Ruth, b.Aug. 26, 1835; Maranda, b. Oct. 15, 1838; Mariah H., b. Oct. 27, 1841; John Clay, b.Jul. 13, 1844; Levina Elizabeth, b.Dec. 12, 1847. This info is all taken from Family Bible pages.
Not listed in this Family Bible, but noted on Hezekiah's tombstone, are 2 other infant sons and 2 other infant daughters, all un-named.
To date we have not been able to find any info on Hezekiah's parents. Since he was married there, it would seem logical that he was born in Sinking Valley but we have no evidence to prove that.
Any info on his parents would be greatly appreciated.
