I'm researching my Crissman connection and can document the ancestry up to the Daniel Crissman b. 17 Aug 1784 d. 05 Sep 1833 (both Sinking Valley/Tyrone, Blair Co. PA) - who married Catherine FLECK - they had 10 children. (George FLECK Crissman is my connection)

One book by Dr. McKnight states that this Daniel's father's name was also Daniel and that he was the first in this line to immigrate to the U.S.

However, all the entries on Ancestry.com & such seem to say that Daniel's father was Johann Friedrich Crossman b. 26 Feb 1727. From the dates - it might be that I'm missing a generation.

Am interested in dates & names of Johann F.'s children.
