I am looking for information on the Croad family in Sydling St. Nicholas, Dorset in the 17-1800's. My great-great-grandfather was Frederick Rendle Croad, m. Mary Stokes in Wales and emigrated to Michigan around 1900. Frederick was born in Sydling in 1865/66 to Robert Rendle Croad and Susannah Tizzard of Frampton. Robert Rendle Croad was born in Sydling in 1832 to Robert Croad and Elizabeth Rendle. Robert Croad was born in 1795 in Sydling and Elizabeth Rendle was born around 1803 in Crewkearne in Somerset. If anyone has these people in their family tree and has phots, information, discrepancies, what have you, I'd like to hear from you. I am especially looking for the parents of Robert Croad (b. 1795, Sydling) and his wife, Elizabeth Rendle of Crewkearne (b. 1803). Thanks!
