There are a lot of Croces, who are mostly related in the Boston area. My family, which also includes my father, lives in Peabody, Mass. But there are several cousins in Wakefield, Mass. The family around here originated in East Boston and then moved to a town called Revere before spreading out into the suburbs. My great-grandfather, Thomas Croce, was an early aviator. They called him "Wildman'' and he barnstormed out of the old Suffolk Downs airstrip in East Boston.
