Funny you say that-

My great grandfather was orphaned out in messina italy. we found out
recently his REAL name is 'Francesco Croce'. (B 1891) We do not know who his
parents are. Someone 'Croce' I believe. He went in the italian turkey war
(1911) and was heading to New York afterwards (says on his military record),
but he stayed in italy and also went in ww1
Giovanni Croce -YOUR GREAT GRANDFATHER could of well been my great
grandfathers FATHER! What happened to Giovanni and his wife? when did they
die? did they give away any babies?
