Steven Paul Crochet aka Stephen (Thru baptism),58,a native of Houma,Louisiana and a resident of Booneville,Indiana died at 4:00 a.m. Tuesday ,Jan. 1,2008 at his home.He was a self-employed mechanic who enjoyed flying ultralites,airplanes and dealing in antiques in his spare time.Steve had a love for musical instruments of all kinds especially,the guitar.He is survived by his two daughters Tynoa Crochet-Billiot and her husband Joseph Wilson Marcel of Houma and Michelle Crochet-Anderson.His grandchildren Lynsey Cecile Billiot and Baylee Nicole Marcel also of Houma.His brothers Dale and his wife Gerry Crochet of New Iberia,Louisiana., Alger Retherford of Parchman,Mississippi.,Louis and his wife Deonna Crochet of Booneville, Indiana.,Kevin and his wife Jamie Crochet of Etowah,North Carolina;sisters Cecile Crochet of Cedartown,Georgia and Phyllis C. Raines of Hendersonville,North Carolina.He was preceded in death by his parents Louis Joseph "L.J. Crochet Sr. and Bernice Irene Addison-Schumacher,His natural mother Elsie Marie Boudreaux,his granddaughter Leslee Anne Billiot,and his sister Sharon Retherford-Bourg.There was no service or visitation held as requested by him.Bradley's Colonial Chapel handled the arrangements.Burial will follow at a later date,Beside his father as requested with a plaque stating "Together Again".
