Genevieve H. Crock, 92, of Greensburg, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009, in Redstone Highlands, Greensburg. She was born March 7, 1916, in Greensburg, the daughter of the late Harvey and Martha Oplinger Haines. Genevieve had graduated from Greensburg High School, and later worked for more than 42 years with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church and was honored as one of the oldest members of the church. She taught Sunday school for many years and was an active member of the church with her deep religious faith. She also had a love for music and enjoyed her travels to 26 countries. She was preceded in death, besides her parents, by two brothers, Glenn and Merle Haines. Surviving is her loving daughter, M. Kathleen Crock, of Greensburg. (She was the most giving and selfless mother anyone could want. She was kind to everyone.) Family and friends will gather from 10 until 11 a.m. Monday at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME INC., 524 N. Main St., Greensburg, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Amy Twigg officiating. Interment will be in St. Clair Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial contributions be made to Otterbein United Methodist Church, 111 College Ave., Greensburg, PA 15601. Terence L.
