Dear David Hoffman. I have a Crocker problem: I am trying to
prove that William Crocker (born 1707 New London) (wife: Eunice Freeman) had a son William Crocker, born Jan 23, 1733 Truro, MA died in New London, Conn. He supposedly married a Lydia Moore, and had a son Lemuel Grant Crocker, born 29, Feb. 1784 New London, CT. (wife Lucinda Beckwith). The Barbour Collection (Connecticut Vital Records books) says William Crocker and Lydia More/Moore married in Feb. 1792, which would not fit with Lemuel's birth date of 1784. I believe that Barbour had misread the marriage date-but cannot locate any other record to solve this. Original birth, marriage and deaths of New London are not very legible. Would appreciate any help you could provide here. Thank you.
