Am interested in Charles Crocket who m. Valera/Dora Crocket aabout 1860 in Johnson Co. Ks(?). They had at least 3 children-Maud, Charles and Ray/Roy. Was he born in Indiana? Am trying to locate him and his family. Thank you so very much.

I'm seeking information on the family line of Fannie B Crocket, who married Hobart M C Whitaker(son of Doctor Snead Whitaker and Louisa Catherine Burke). According to my records they had the following children: Raymond; Grat; Lilly B; Dock; Pauline; Anna L; Sessie; Jean; and Lucille Whitaker.

I recently purchased a bunch of old photos. One of the photos shows a large family and is labeled "Greetings from The Crocket Family, K.N.X. and Peruna." On the back is an ad for Peruna and a 1935 calendar. They look like a Hillbillie band. Does anyone know anything about this?

My ggfather was a David Crockett who married Eliza. had 2 sons James oran and Ben, 4 girls, Mae, Fiona, Molly,Sadie. I have more, will share with you if these are the same crocketts u have. Hello,, I am seeking any info of my Crockett's. My ggfather was a David Crockett, b.Sept 13th,1842, d Aug 11, 1922, who married Eliza. They had a boy named James Oran Crocktt, b. my gfather, he married Allie Beauregard Lampson, b.March 1, 1889, d Feb. 4, 1947. James had one brother, Ben. James and allie had 2 daughters,: Eliza Josephine Crockett, Gibbs, Married Lewis Waldo Gibbs in 1931, in Mo.b. Oct 19, 1913, d. 2004. the other is Floy Mae Crockett, b. Dec 24, 1916. married Harrrison Morre.
James had sisters Mae, Sadie.Fiona, Molly, crockett.
Any info will be helpful.

Crocket/Hardin Marraige of early 1900's

Does anyone know of a woman who married a Hardin in the Early 1900's who was from New Mexico and had several children with him. This is one of his three wives. Mr. hardin had 11 children total. This hardin had a son named Jack Hardin who is my fiance's grandfather. We want to know who his great grandmother is... and her family, cousins, his second cousins. etc...

David Crockett from Clay co., Mo. was my 5th Gr. Grandfather, His father was Joseph Crockett, Joseph is the one mentiond in biographies as having lost his arm and carved himself another. I haven't been able to find out who David's mother was but I do know that he had at least two brothers:
Joseph Crockett who was born in 1787 and appears in the 1822 Clay co. census.
and
William Crockett who was born on 3 Nov. 1788.
I don't know anymore than this so far, there are so many Crockett's with the same first names and alot of them are named David, Joseph and William.
I do know that these three were all 2nd cousins to Davey of the Alamo, and most of the family photo's I've seen, even recent ones there are still some of them that have the strong Crockett resemblance.

I am sorry to answer that there are no Marks in my line of Corcketts. Could you send me some websites in Ireland that I might use to locate information some lines of Crocketts that left Ireland for America in the 1750s. This informatin would be greatly appreciated. Johnson and had the following children: Herman McKay born 16 Oct. 1898, died 21 April 1934, 2 unknown Males Johnsons and Lottie birth unknown, who married and Unknown Crocket. Need info on Lottie Johnson and Unknown Crocket. According to the obituary of Herman McKay Johnson, Lottie's brother, their parents were desceased and only the brother's and Lottie Crocket survive. Herman died in Alexandria, Louisiana and is buried in the Joiner Cemetery, Alexandria, Louisiana.

Our earliest verified ancester is John Crotchett, born in North Carolina in 1795, died in Pope County, Illinois in 1852. His mother's name was definitely Patience, and I believe his father may be the Samuel "Crochett" in the 1790 Surry County NC Census. When I first find him, his brother James, and his sisters, Happy and Nancy, they are "Crocket" or "Crockett," and then, later, "Crochet" or "Crotchet," and then finally land on Crotchett. I guess what I am asking is this. If any of you have or do come across some Crotchet/tt information in your travels I would so appreciate your sending it my way.
