Andrew Jackson Crockett was born February 24, 1822 in Perry County, Alabama (possibly Mississippi) and died December 13, 1893 in Bandera County, Texas. He married 1st Mary A. Prewitt March 28, 1844 in Rusk County, Texas. She was born Between 1820 and 1830 and died Before 1846. He married 2nd Mary Danley October 28, 1846 in Rusk County, Texas. She was born Between 1827 and 1828 in Illinois, daughter of Andrew Danley and Nancy Burkett. He married 3rd Elizabeth Jane Danley September 29, 1858 in Dallas County, Texas. She was born January 1830 in Illinois, and died Between 1900 and 1910 in Texas, another daughter of Andrew Danley and Nancy Burkett.

There were several active message threads here around 1997-2000 concerning this family. Every email address of those who participated in the threads back then are no longer working. I'm hoping there are currently descendants of this family active on the CROCKETT message board in 2012.
