My name is Jason Allen and my grandfather is Ira L. Allen born in South Dakota and his mother's name is Nancy Crofford. I am looking for any information on Ira L. Allen, grandpa Ira's father. I know that he was an artificer in the philippine campaign in the Spanish American War. Other than that we literally know nothing about the first Ira L. Allen and would really appreciate any information and Help about Ira.
