I saw your info on Ancestry, which was dated 2001. My wife Lucy is the daughter of Winifred Croke, whose father was James Francis Croke. Her mother was Henrietta Fletcher. If you are the grandson of Harold Croke, do you have any info on your g-father's family? Here is what I have found out so far:

James Francis Croke, b: 26 Jul 1881 in Tipperary; wift was Henrietta Fletcher, b: 21 Jul 1882 in Huffersfield, England.
Children were:

Winifred Emily Croke b: 30 Jul 1904 in Plymouth, England
Maurice Croke (Lived in Luton)
Patrick Croke
Sidney Croke
Harold Croke
Burt Croke
Nora Croke (Married Wally Butler)

Hope your Harold is the same as mine. If so, let me know.
It is really hard to do research of England/Ireland when you live in the USA.
