I would like to find out if Martha Crowley Reynolds was a daughter of Benjamin Crowley and Sarah Strong Crowley. I'm not sure if Martha and her husband, Thomas Reynolds were married in Georgia, but I'm pretty sure Thomas was from Hopkins County, Kentucky and Martha did die there some time around 1820 from what I've seen. I am descended through their daughter, Sarah Ann Reynolds who married Andrew Richard Dunville. Their daughter, Elizabeth Ann Dunville married Stephen Decatur Ashby, and their daughter, Alice Davis Ashby married James William Rice. Alice and James are my 3 greats grandparents. The family all lived mainly in Hopkins, Webster, Union, and Henderson Counties in Kentucky until Alice and James moved from Henderson County to St. Louis, Missouri. I don't know very much about the Crowleys, and a lot of people online seem to think Martha isn't a daughter of Benjamin and Sarah. However, there are a few sources including Benjamin Crowley's will (which I think was transcribed by June Bork) which mentions daughter, Patsey Reynolds and the "Strong Family of Virginia and Other Southern States" book by James and Sandra Strong Rolff.
