I have found the record of a Mary Peggy Kimsey who married Claburn Wasson at Howard County MO, in 1825. I believe that they are my ggg-grandparents. she moved to Post Oak MO some time between 1845-1850. She bought 2 A1 land grant lots in the middle of the Harris family plat in Post Oak Township. There were a lot of Kimseys also living in that area at the time. Can anyone shed any light on the Kimsey families living in the Johnson/Henry County area about that time?
