Thanks for replying to my message in May 2007. Sorry that I did not look sooner for a reply. My name is Jo Ann Croll, I live in Springfield Illinois. My e-mail address is jo.croll@comcast.net. Frank and Lena are my Grandparents. I am unable to go any further back than that.

The information that I have on Lena, is that she was born in Illinois about 1863. She died December 30th, 1938 in Marshall, Illinois. Both her parents were from Germany.
She married Frank about 1900.


Frank was born about 1863 in Ohio. His father was from Pennsylvania and his mother was from Ohio. He died also in 1938 on December 3rd, in Marshall Illinois.


Frank and Lena had three Children,

Allen Croll, Clifford and Clarence William Croll (Twins) Clifford died at 4 months from pneumonia, and Clarence William was my father.

I would appreciate hearing about any information that you have. If you are interested in any of the descendants of Lena Specht, I would be happy to give you all the information that I have.
