My husband is a gg-grandson of Walter Scott Crom -- through his daughter Jennie (your father's aunt). I do remember that Jennie's oldest daughter suffered at times (as an adult) from trigeminal neuralgia (tic delarue).
I'm wondering if this condition is related at all to Charcot-Marie-Tooth disorder?
