Lawrence, Con, Jim and John Cronin Brothers from Killarney went to USA
I have Cronin ancestors from Fossa, Killarney. I know very little about what happened to them. I think it's a long shot to ever finding out, considering how common the surname is and that I have no idea where in the US they landed or ended up! Their father was Daniel Cronin and their mother was Mary (nee Cronin - to make it even more confusing!!!) They show up in the 1901 census but not all appear the 1911 version. I presume they started going to the US between these dates but can't be sure . . .
What I do know is my grandfather had 4 uncles that went to the USA.
1) Lawrence Cronin born around 1889. Had a son, Thomas, who was a soldier (in the U.S.)
2) Corneilus (Con) Cronin, born around 1891. Married Molly Lynch, from Killarney (then went to the U.S.)
3) James (Jim) Cronin, born around 1893.
4) John D (Daniel?) Cronin.
Any information would be greatly greatly appreciated!!!
