I have a German Family Tree book that dates back to the early 1400's with lots of photos of portraits. very interesting. They tried to link my family with theirs and actually has my linage unlinked to theirs in the book. They tried this due to my Uncle Ben Cropp being famous for underwater sea adventures here in Australia. It has a family crest in it as well.
