Crosse, Leonard (CRO1) b . 1580 in Mortomley, Yorkshire, England
d. April 15, 1601** in Yorkshire, England **one of these dates is wrong
Spouse: Christine Dodworthe (DOD1)
m. April 19, 1601 ** in Yorkshire, England
Children: Leonard Crosse (CRO2) b. 1602 in Yorkshire, England
Obviously Leonard Crosse could not have died on April 15, 1601 and then married Christine Dodworthe on April 19, 1601, four days later. One of the dates is incorrect.
Crosse, Leonard (CRO2) b. 1602 in Yorkshire, England
d. 1644 in London, England
Spouse: Mary Katterne (KAT1)
m. May 1, 1617 in St. Gregory by St. Paul, London, England
Children: Thomas Crosse (CRO3) b. February 8, 1635
Leonard Crosse (CRO4) b. 1644
Leonard Crosse (II) is the son of Leonard Crosse (I) and Christine Dodworthe. He was born in Yorkshire, England, but moved to London sometime thereafter. It appears that his father may have died while he was young and it is not known if his mother remarried. When Leonard was fifteen he married Mary Katterne in St Gregory by St. Paul, London, England. Leonard Crosse (II) died in 1644, the same year his youngest son, Leonard Crosse (III) was born.
