Hiram H. Croy Dies
Hiram H. Croy, 75, prominent resident of Chesterhill, and well known Morgan county resident, died Sunday morning at 4 o’clock at his home very unexpectedly from angina pertoris. He was son of Rev. John Croy and Sarah Jane Hart Croy.
Surviving besides his wife, are a son George Croy, Morton, Miss., and two daughters, Mrs. Sarah Calland, wife of W. H. Calland, owner of the Calland beauty shop, McConnelsville, and Mrs.Grace Day, Springfield.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the M. E. church at Chesterhill, Rev. C. H. Wilkins will officiate. Burial will be made in the Chesterhill cemetery.

Well Known Stock Buyer Dies Following Heart Attack
M’CONNELSVILLE, O., Aug. 13—Hiram Croy [sic], 755 [sic], prominent farmer and stock buyer of Chesterhill, Morgan county, died suddenly at his home there at 4 o’clock Sunday morning following a heart attack. He had been in his usual good health on retiring, and was stricken shortly before his death.
Mr. Croy was one of the best known resident of Morgan county, where he had spent practically his entire life. Surviving are his widow and the following children: George of Mississippi; Mrs. Grace Day of Springfield; Mrs. Sadie Calland of McConnelsville, and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Chesterhill M. E. church at 3 o’clock Wednesday afternoon and burial will be made in the Chesterhill cemetery.

COLUMBUS, O., April 1—(AP)—Mrs. Florence Bell Croy, native of Chesterhill, Morgan county, Ohio, died here today. A daughter, Mrs. Grace Day, of Springfield, survives.
Burial will be at Chesterhill Friday.

Florence L. Croy, 82, a native of Chesterhill, Ohio, died Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. H. Calland, 45 Oakland Park Av.
A resident of Columbus for 10 years, she was a member of the Methodist Church at Chesterhill.
She is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Grace Day, Springfield, a son, George Lee Croy, Morton, Miss., two brothers Dr. E. W. Heston and Dr. H. E. Heston, Columbus, and a sister, Mrs. Lydia Lovell, New Lexington.
Friends may call at the Shaw-Davis funeral home. Funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Fawcell-Stone funeral home at Chesterhill. Burial will be in Chesterhill Cemetery.
