My grandfather was born at 27 Temple Place New Kilpatrick in the County of Dunbarton, May 13 1909. On his birth certificate his father is listed as Alexander Cruickshanks occupation Coal Miner. His mother was listed as Jessie Cruickshanks re Doyle married December 31 1908. I have learned of 1 sister name unknown and a brother name unknown. John had ran away to Canada and lived at Neelin Manitoba Canada and went by the name of Jesse Doyle Cruickshanks. Every one called him by the name of "Jock"
