Pat, I have since learned that my gradma was named Alice Pearl Cruise. Her father was James Michael Cruise. She was born about 1885-1895. Could be that she is related to your Alice Cruise since they are both from Alabama. She was raised in Etawa Ala, but was born in Ga. Her mother was Elizabeth ( Lizzy).
