I am from Frederick now living just north of you in Lancaster. My mother's maiden name is Crum. There are many Crum's in that area. You need to be much more specific. For example my grandfather - Clarence Raymond Crum had a farm on Opossumtown Pike north of Frederick which had a neighboring farm owned by John Crum. If they were related it was back more generations than they knew. So without some specifics it will be difficult for you. Just started looking at Crum genealogy myself to trace my mother's roots back as a Christmas present. Good luck
