I am intrested the any information that you may be able to provide with regard to The Crump family in Chatham County. I've been very successful in tracing my GGG grandmother back to Oby Brown and Jane Cotten, however I have not been able to get that far with the African American Crump side of the family. My GG grandparents were Jim and Heneritta Crump that lived over by Pea Ridge. They had a son named Glasco who was my Grandfather. My grandfather had a cousin named Adam who passed away in 1994 in Chatham County. I would appreciate any information that you may be able to provide with regard to slave records, plantations that the Crumps may have come from, or any possible decendents.
