I have an original studio photograph of “Jay and Esther Crumpacker, with daughter Isabel”, taken in about 1922, which I’d like to get back to descendants or family members. Photo was taken in McPherson (McPherson Co.) KS, and Isabel looks about 10 months old, while parents are around 30.

I found the family of Jay and Esther Crumpacker, with daughter Isabell, in the 1930 McPherson Co., KS census. Jay was 40, Esther, 32; Isabell, 8 yrs., 1 mo.; and younger sister Rosalie, 3 yrs.

Get back to me at margerice@prodigy.net if you are related to the Crumpacker family of McPherson Co., KS.

Your grandpa charles has 1 brother still living- George. He turned 92 last February and he and Virginia are living in Las Vegas close to his son- your cousin- Gary. George told me he split his family pictures with his son Gary and daughter Beverly but I canT seem to get either one to make a copy of any pictures of Ophelia for me. George says he had pictures of his mother. You can email me at c_classactkate@hotmail.com and I will send you the addresses and phone numbers of George and Gary. George and my grandma were first cousins. My brother. who passed away in 2006, looked like George. Hope to hear from you...Kathy

Oscar Olin Crumpacker married Amy Moore 5 Jun 1919 in Grenola, Elk Co., KS. He subsequently married Rae Nichols by whom he had 4 children. I have no descendants between Oscar and Amy. Oscar was born 25 Mar 1896, the 2nd of 5 children of William Kyle Crumpacker (1866-1947) and Albertina Olin (1871-1947).
