My grandfather was Felipe Cruz his mother Gertrudis Marcial Y Ruiz de Cruz and his father Francisco Cruz. Felipe and his mother came to the Bronx she too died in the Bronx buried in St. Raymond Cemetery. I believe she passed sometime in 92 or 93 although they can be wrong as well as I was very young when she died. I have a picture of her on my tree. I know Felipe had a sister Nilda who has three children; Nancy, Emilio and Roberto who actually disappeared after Gertrudis' death as she raised him. Wonder if there is any connection.. My abuela who married Felipe is from Jayuya her name is Nereida Reyes. She may know of your family. I will ask her. She was born in 1932 and left for NY in 52.
