I am trying to do some research to give to my Son-n-Law for christmas 2008. I am really hoping someone can help me out here as I am unable to travel.
I am searching for information on a SALLEY LEE CRUZ. Daughter of a MARTIN THYSSEE. She married PAUL CRUZ. What information I have come into right now is there were several children born to them. These children were:
JAMIE b. 1969 and LINDA b. 1970 in Scottsbluff Nebraska.
KAREN b. 1971 in LA. JEORGETTE b. 1972 and BRYAN[my son n law]b. 1973 in Garden City, Kansas. THEODORE HENRY KECKLER,JR. b 1975, PAUL CRUZ b. 1977 and SIMON CRUZ who died at birth in 1981, Guymon, Oklahoma. SALLEY also passed away in 1981. I presume from childbirth, and they had lived in GUYMON at the time. Hopefully anyway.

Can anyone help me please. I realize I have a whole year to work on it but would like to get as much information as possible right now so I can get the album started anyway.
Thank you all and you all have a good day.
Janice
Okay I'm taking a long shot here. Ruben E Oyola was divorced from Rose January 9, 1985 in Broward, Hollywood, FL. I believe Rose's maiden name was Cruz and she was born somewhere between 1945 and 1952. Ruben was 28 in 1976 when his son Ruben J was born (4 Nov 1976 in Alameda, CA), so Rose was probably in her 20s at this time. Ruben's date of birth is 11-26-48. If anyone has any information that would help me to find Ruben and more information on Rose, please answer me here or request my e-mail address and I'll send it to you. Thank you, Celeste Kvetensky

Looking for Cruz ancestors

Looking for my Grandfathers parentsAny info. My grandfathers name was Desiderio Cruz from Mexico. Around 1910 he married my grandmother Angelita Nunez. I found him in the 1920 cencus he was listed as son-in-law of a man by the name of Isbel Ramos(my great grandfather on angelita side??). Both his parents were born in Mexico according to the cencus. But my grandmother was not listed in those cencus. I found him again in the 1930 cencus, with my grandmother and five children (my mother being the oldest) and the youngest not yet born. It says my grandmother's father was from Mexico and her mother from Texas. my grandmother was born in Texas but have run into walls from there. If anyone can help I would be sooo grateful.
Thanks for all your help. If anyone has info please contact me at cjisone@sentco.net

Maria Cruz Torres daughter of Pedro Cruz and Juanna Torres

Hi, I am in the beginning stages of gathering my family genealogy information and would be very grateful if anyone had any bits of information to offer.
What I have so far is:
Placido Pacheco married Cornelia Alvarez.
One of their children was Juanna Pacheco Alvarez who married Sigifredo Landa Escamilla in 1932. His parents were Inocencio Landa and Vecenta Escamilla Sarmiento. Inocencio's parents were Doroteo Landa & Florencia Landa.
One of Sigifredo & Cornelia's children was Consuelo Landa Pacheco born 1939.
Consuelo married Delfino Miramontes Cruz born 07/06/41.
Delfino was Consuelo's 2nd marriage; her first husband was Delfino's brother, Jesus Miramontes Cruz who was killed at a very young age, leaving Consuelo with 2 babies.
Consuelo and Delfino had 3 children of their own.
Delfino's parents were Delfin Miramontes Soria and Maria Cruz Torres. Delfin's parents were Pedro Miramontes and Herculana Soria. Maria's parents were Pedro Cruz and Juanna Torres.
Any past history would be so very helpful, especially dates. Consuelo, Delfino, Sigifredo, and Juanna all come from Huejuquilla El Alto Jalisco Mexico. Thank you in advance for any insight you may be able to share.

Francisco Cruz Sar/Paz in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico

I am looking to see if anyone knows much about the SAR surname, specifically in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. I have come across a name in the 1910 census for my great-grandmother's father, Francisco Cruz Sar. I think it says Sar, it is a little hard to read. It is page 349A, Aguadilla, barrio Caimital Bajo, line 332. Recently, I have been told that it is indexed as Francisco Cruz Paz, but I don't have any other documents to confirm what the actual name is.

Thanks!
Melanie

¡Gracias!
Melanie

I am looking for information on a Jose Vega from Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. He was my great-grandfather from my mother's side. He and my great-grandmother, Dolores Cruz Cortes (also appears as Dolores de la Cruz Cortes on some papers) had two children: Margarita Vega Cruz and my grandmother, Paula Vega Cruz. Dolores was born in 1909, Margarita abt. 1927, and Paula in 1929. Margarita died when she was about 15 or 16 (abt. 1942/43). I don't have any other information on Jose Vega, no second last name, birth or death dates, or information on his parents. I have heard him possibly called Julian also, but believe his actual name was Jose. Anything will help. Thanks!
*************************************
I was given this site by another Tanaguan relative and I was ecstatic to see that Helen Higdon mentions my mom' name on her e-mail. I was able to attend the Tanaguan reunion several years ago and it was so wonderful to see all the relatives. People that we were meeting prior to the reunion and then find out that we were related all along. Just to let the familia know that we do have two (2) Tanaguan members running for Senators this year and if you have not heard yet they are, (Ret) Judge B.J. Cruz and Teresita G. Cruz (married to Simeon Cruz). GO TANAGUANS!

I am looking for ANY information on a fred cruz that lived in California (Los Angeles area) in the 1960's and early 1970's.
Althouh I may not come up with any information this could be one of those unsolved mysteries of life. My mother Sybil Woods and my sisters Peggy,Rose Marie, Beth, and myself
grew up in a housing project called Harbor Hills. Fred was the man my mother dated for many many years. It is hard to explain, but it was as if he was our Guardian angel. My mother was divorced with 4 girls. Whenever we needed Fred, he always just showed up, it was like he had someone watching over us. Throughout my teenage years fred was often around and at my high school graduation he took us out to dinner and told my mom well Sybil there's our last one. The night of my graduation was the last time any of us ever saw Fred or heard from him. it was like he just disappeared. Ok Ok I know this sounds a little *out there* but I am totally serious. I have one picture of fred taken at my graduation. he never spoke of his family other than he mentioned he had a son named David. I would love to know any information on this man. He was like a father figure to me and I have always wondered what happened to him.

Hello,

My name is Gloria Acevedo Vazquez and I am investigating my Family Tree.

I am looking for a relative of mine. Her name is Doris (Dory) Cruz Ortiz.

Dory is the daughter of Tomasita Ortiz Cruz and Miguel Cruz. Tomasita Ortiz Cruz is the second cousin of my father, Juanito Acevedo Ortiz. (Tomasita's father was Tomas Ortiz Roldan, first cousin to my father, Juanito Acevedo Ortiz. Tomas Ortiz Roldan was married to Rita Cruz, Tomasita's mom).

Dory has four sisters, names are Lillian, Rita, Bertha, and Judy.

Dory and I met for the first time back in 1968; we both worked together in the same Plant in Aguada, Puerto Rico but without being aware that we were related. As time went by, we realized were related (I believe we are fourth cousins). After that my family and I visited Dory and her family often.

After I left for New York, we wrote but after a while, we lost contact.

Dory, if you read this email, I would love to hear from you and the family. Please reply or write me an email. My email address is GArchyette@aol.com.

Gloria
