Kelly,
There are two ways to learn which Cuddeback(s) owned the house. The first and preferred way is by examining the Title or Abstract of Title for the property. If you own the property, then your real estate agent should know how you can view it. If not, perhaps the owneer can help you to view it. The Title or Abstract are the formal legal records on all property transfers, including divisions of the property.
The other way is through Plat Books. Plat Books contain maps of the county. They should be available in some libraries around the county. Ask your local librarian where you can find them.
Other ways are through property tax records. You may be able to look back through time for who paid the taxes for the property.
Here on Ancestry or on CuddebackFamily.org you can find one Sylvester Cuddeback. He was born in 1800 or 1801, possibly in Skaneateles, NY. He immigrated with his parents in 1810/11 to near Vermilion, Huron (now Erie Coo., OH. He married Mary Sherarts there in 1821 and had his first child Roland Day there in about 1822 as well. Their first child born in Michigan was Mary Ann, about 1831. So there's the time frame you need to work back to.
Census information from 1850 to 1900 does not provide street addresses, so the two methods mentioned above will have to work.
Best of luck,
-- Jake
