I am looking for relatives of my father's family. He was born in Mayaquez, Puerto Rico, circa 1920 and he died circa 1978 in New York City. I know he had a sister by the name of Delfina and that they were close in age (I believe she was older than he) and that Delfina lived in the Bronx for a time and I presume that she is no longer living but I am unable to verify this presently. When I was young, I remember my father telling me the importance of the spelling of our name and that our ancestors hailed from royalty. I used to think of this as wishful thinking on my father's part but still cling to the memory of his saying this. If you think that we might be related please leave me posts or email me and I will respond to every one. I am half Puerto Rican but I do not speak any spanish (never taught nor learned much to my dismay!) but if you answer me in English I will respond to all queries.
