Horacio, I already e-mail you, this is for the rest of the family out there that we are trying to find. Anyone out there with the surname of Cuevas, who knows or thinks they have or had relatives in Lares, Coamo or Mayaguez with that name please e-mail at rafwepacu1@aol.com. I'm searching for relatives of Anastacio Cuevas Echevary or Echevarria, married to Thomas Velez Segarra who had ten children by the names of Amparo Cuevas Velez, (C.V. for short) Juana Mercedes C.V. who married Ramon Irizzary Gonzalez, Catalina C.V., Luisa C.V., Bernardino C. V. (my grandfather), Florencio C.V. (father of Tato Cuevas, Isabel Cuevas, Enrique (Kike) Cuevas, Bernardo Cuevas (father of Florencio Cuevas), Clarisa C.V., Aquilana C.V., and Pacita C.V., also interested on anyone who married Francisco Cuevas (born in Spain) in Isabela P.R. by the last name of Echevary or Echevarria and moved to Lares, P.R. Anastacio Cuevas Echevary or Echevarria had two brothers that moved to Coamo, P.R.( C.V. means Cuevas - Velez.) Thanks
Anastacio Cuevas Echevary or Echevarria was born in Lares of Spanish parents around 1847. Thomasa or Tomasa Velez Segarra, was born around 1851. Francisco Cuevas (need his second last name) arrived from Spain in or abouts 1803.
I am the GGG grandson of someone in Spain, the GG grandson of Francisco Cuevas and the Great grandson of Anastacio and Thomasa.
