Looking for descendants of James Cuff (b. 1873 Piermont, NY, son of John and Jane Sharkey) and Elizabeth Newman (b. abt 1870 England). James was shot and killed in 1907. Elizabeth was a two time widower who married a Newman and then James Cuff. I am not sure of Elizabeth's maiden name. Their children were Ellen 'Nellie' Newman/Cuff (b. abt 1893); David NewmanCuff (b. abt. 1897); Francis Cuff (b.abt 1906) and Julia Cuff (b. 1908).
I am related to this Cuff line. My gr.grandmother was Ellen Cuff, sister of John (who married Jane Sharkey). Bill Dennehy
