Josephine CUFFARI married Joseph MAGLIO (b. abt. 1878)
Three of their children were:
Joseph Ignatius MAGLIO born October 17, 1906
James Maglio born Abt. 1909 and
Rocco Maglio date of birth unk.

Joseph, James and Rocco settled first in
Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Joseph married
Rose PETTA (daughter of Domenic PETTA and
Rosina RANDAZZO). They moved to Phoenix,
Arizona in 1960's? Then to Las Vegas, Nevada.

I have a database with 2700 related names. Some of the names
include: PETTA, BALSAMO, RANDAZZO, RUSSO..many from the
Milwaukee, Wisconsin area..if your Italian/Arberesh side is smaller,
perhaps you could send me some of the surnames you are interested in???

These are the major surnames in my database...hope this helps. Are you
a member of P.O.I.N.T.? It stands for "Pursuing Our Italian Names
Together". I have been a member for 4 years and it has been very
helpful to me. They also have local chapters and meetings which are
called "Pointers in Person" (PIP).
There is a PIP meeting in Milwaukee at 11:00AM at the Italian Community
Center. I am taking my dad with me this time. Annually the POINT group
publishes a directory with the names of people who are researching,
their addresses, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses (what ever
way the wish to be contacted). This directory is set up to cross research
by surname, and town of origin. Quarterly, they publish a small magazine
which I find very interesting..lots of culture and heritage.

Again, hope I have been helpful. Looking forward to hearing from you,
Susan

My RANDAZZO line is related to the TERRASI line which settled in
Maturin, Venezuela.
