you. My grandmother was Rebecca O. Cuffley West Smith. I
never knew her. She died before I was born. I need to have

Hello Jackie, I know your post was a decade ago and can't believe I missed it. I am the great grandaughter od Rebeccas sister winifred Ada. I gave up with Rebecca after she took the name smith and think she might be a missing link for me as my mother has memories of an old lady (mum was born in chiswick).I know one of them was Eliza Avis married to Frank Thomas Cuffley West. Anything you have will be gratefully recieved. Photos especially. Best wishes.

My Great-grandfather's name was Charles Francis Cuffley. He came to America from Enfield,England before 1880. His father's name was James and he had children named James Compton Cuffley(1880-1922),Grace Corina(1881-1950), Mary Frances(Mollie)(1884-1944), Annie S.(1883-?),Earnest Charles,(1886-?),Austin William(1891-?),Dewey Leroy(5-4-1898-5-8-1962---married to Clara Rosenberger), John Morris (1888-1956-my grandfather), and Raymond O.(1893-1936). Are these your relatives? My info. came out of the old family bible.I'm not very good at this yet, so if you answer, it may take me a while to find it and reply.

Hello, I know yours is an old post , but I have brick walled. I believe i am a descendent of Edwin. My grandmother has in her effects a letter. She was left something by Elizabeth Mary west-cuffley,nee Avis who was married to Frank Thomas west cuffley and I believe they were childless. My grandmother was the daughter of 'ada west' who was born in 1885 and married Biscoe haynes in 1904.The birth and deat certificate state here as winifred ada c-west so i'm assuming Elizabeth mary was an aunt.ANy clues ?

I've been looking into the Cuffley Wests, and would be interested to know who you are descended from. Also, I was wondering if you know any more about Eliza Rebecca Cuffley and her previous marriage.

I can't seem to get anywhere.My grandmother is Clara Cuffley.She has brother's named Raymond,Edward,Dewey,Jimmy,and some sisters but don't remember the names right know.Her parents were Dewey Cuffley born in WVa.Clara Rosenburg.Raymond lives in Havre De Grace MD.
Edward lives in Baltimore MD.This is where most of the family is from.
