I've just completed my DNA test through familytree.com but now need to find other male Culver's to do the test through Familytee.com ($149) or ancestry.com ($79) to see if I can find a match. This type of testing is particularly useful for Culver males because almost all Culver's are descended from Edward Culver (1610) and thus should match. A match is a way of confirming that you are a true descendant of Edward. As the science improves it may even be able to confirm more of the paternal lineage.
