Harold R Culy Sr.

July 11,1916 - May 3, 2008
Born in San Diego, Calif., to Frank and Bessie Culy, Harold Culy passed away May 3,2008.
Harold was married to Geraldeen Rhodes (deceased), Gloria Warren (deceased) and Sunny Wangan. He was a resident of Cameron Park for 14 years.
Harold is survived by his beloved wife, Sunny; his children, Harold Jr. of Oregon, Richard of California, Sue Ellen Nelson of Cameron Park, Julie Ann Clemens, Sacramento, John and James Culy of Elk Grove; step-children, Terri Linggi and Keith Wangan; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Harold served in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a pilot in World War II flying a B25 and a B29 from 1945 to 1952. He was a Trucking Corp. executive until retirement in 1984 and remained a consultant in the industry after retirement. He was a founding member of Valley Hi Country Club in Elk Grove, a charter member of South Sacramento Rotary Club, a past member of BOP, Order of Elks and an avid outdoorsman, who loved fishing and hunting.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, May 17, at 10 a.m. at North Sacramento Funeral Home, 725 El Camino Ave., Sacramento, Calif.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Snowline Hospice, Placerville or Hays Antique Truck Museum (Woodland).
