      <description>Mountain Democrat&lt;br&gt;Placerville, El Dorado, California&lt;br&gt;Thursday, 15 May 2008&lt;br&gt;Page A-7&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Harold R Culy Sr. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;July 11,1916 - May 3, 2008&lt;br&gt;Born in San Diego, Calif., to Frank and Bessie Culy, Harold Culy passed away May 3,2008.&lt;br&gt;Harold was married to Geraldeen Rhodes (deceased), Gloria Warren (deceased) and Sunny Wangan. He was a resident of Cameron Park for 14 years.&lt;br&gt;Harold is survived by his beloved wife, Sunny; his children, Harold Jr. of Oregon, Richard of California, Sue Ellen Nelson of Cameron Park, Julie Ann Clemens, Sacramento, John and James Culy of Elk Grove; step-children, Terri Linggi and Keith Wangan; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.&lt;br&gt;Harold served in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a pilot in World War II flying a B25 and a B29 from 1945 to 1952. He was a Trucking Corp. executive until retirement in 1984 and remained a consultant in the industry after retirement. He was a founding member of Valley Hi Country Club in Elk Grove, a charter member of South Sacramento Rotary Club, a past member of BOP, Order of Elks and an avid outdoorsman, who loved fishing and hunting.&lt;br&gt;Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, May 17, at 10 a.m. at North Sacramento Funeral Home, 725 El Camino Ave., Sacramento, Calif.&lt;br&gt;In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Snowline Hospice, Placerville or Hays Antique Truck Museum (Woodland).</description>
