my GGgrandfather - George Knowels Halifax had a daughter Emma but they lived in Longdon , Lichfield Staffs . Knowels was droped for some reason when my Ggrandfather - Jesse was born . William , James , are family names occuringin the 1800 's . Would be very interested to know more of your family history .
