MUSCATINE, Iowa -- Loren A. Cunningham, 68, of Muscatine died Friday, Dec. 21, 2001, at Unity Hospital following a short illness.
Services are at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. The Rev. James Baughman will officiate. Burial will be at the Illinois City Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Fruitland Baptist Church.
Mr. Cunningham was born on Nov. 28, 1933, in Muscatine County, the son of Ollie L. and Doris M. Ryan Cunningham. He married Joyce Christensen on May 27, 1955, in Omaha, Neb.
He attended Faith Bible College, formerly Omaha Baptist Bible College, for one year.
He worked for Doane Pet Care since 1973.
He was a member of the Fruitland Baptist Church.
He enjoyed model trains and was a train buff.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Wesley Cunningham and his wife, Helen, Jim Cunningham and Roger Cunningham, all of Muscatine; two grandsons, Timothy and Aaron; a granddaughter, Tamar; a brother, Irwin Cunningham and his wife, Roberta, of Muscatine; and two sisters, Darlene Hill and Vivian Busch and her husband, Fred, all of Muscatine.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Robert and Daniel; a grandson, Nathaniel; a brother; and two sisters.
