I've read a similar story re my Cupp family.
My g-grandfather was Samuel M. Cupp, believed to be brother of James Monroe Cupp. I think, but can't prove, that A. J. "Jack" Cupp was another brother. James and Samuel are buried in Hill Co., TX.
