On the 1840 Census I have a Christopher Cupp age 50-60, 1 male 10-15, 1 male 15-20 and a female 50-60 living in Laurel Twp. Hocking County Ohio. Living right next to him ia a Conrod Cupp age 30-40, 1 male under 5, 1 female under 5, 1 female 5-10, 1 female 30-40.

My guess is that they are father and son... not sure, though.

Also according to the History of Hocking Valley Ohio 1883, Charles is the son of Christopher. Born Dec. 7, 1824 in Licking Co. Ohio, he came to Fairfield Co. Ohio at age 8, staying until 18. He came to Hocking Co. Laurel Twp. in 1842, buying his farm in Section 27 in 1850. He married Mary Ann Hood, who died in 1847. He then married her sister, Deborah. He had 5 children: John C; Jacob A; Charles W; Clarissa E and George W. (Not sure which child belongs to which mother.)

Mary Ann is buried in Mount Olive Cemetery Laurel Twp. Hocking County Ohio.

Charles was located in Pickaway Co. Ohio in 1840, age 30-40, 1 male under 5, 1 male 5-10, 1 female under 5, 1 female 5-10, and 1 female 30-40.

Does anyone know if Christoper had any other children? Who was his wife?
