Looking for Family members- Collins, Curby

I'm looking for help in tracing my family this is what I have Carl Sewell Collins was my grandfather he came from around sneedville Tenn he married verney Curby her father was John Curby I have no information on John at all and Tiler Bell was verney's stepfather and we have Wilburns in the family also I believe everyone came from Tenn.Carl's mom and dad were William and Cora Collins I don't know Cora's maiden Name.I was told that are family was part of the first settlers in sneedville tenn.But I have nothing to back that up yet.Alice Wilburn married John Curby I know nothing of the Wilburns.

My great grandmother's death certificate lists her father as Jesse Curby and her mother as Anna Carby. I have been unable to find any link to them. Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

Penny, I'm sorry to have to tell you that the pictures have already been claimed by a Curby in St. Louis. I located him by going thru old census records & the phone book. I no longer have his information. Barbara

I purchased at an antique store in Crown Point, Indiana a small photo of a young man, aged about 19 yrs, the photo is circa 1870-1900 by Knorr photographers, Trenton, New Jersey, marked Lea Curby but it could be something else as th handwriting is very scratchy...could be Curly or the first name could be Lee???anyone related to this person, please contact me...I am not related...SusanDFenn@aol.com

Celines married Allie/Ollie Poor on 19 Mar 1906 in Arkansas County, AR.

The story has it that Celines Curby was from France.???
