We are indeed related. I am Constance Rae Curd (nee: Newport). My father was Charles Raymond Curd and his wife Beatrice Arleen Williams Curd. They had six children. Not too much is known about the family. My father's sister lived in Corpis Cristi, Texas until her death some 15-20 years ago. She married Seth Ward and had two children. I heard they both died of heart disease in the 1980's or thereabouts. I have longed to know more about my father's family. His brother lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, named Thomas Curd. His son, Tom Curd lives in Wisconsin still and has the same story my father has, "we come from a long line of horse thieves. Don't look for us." I am curious about this interesting and somewhat mysterious family. I want to know if the roots are Irish or Scottish. I learned from the Mormon genealogy (Family Search) which is supposed to have the largest genealogy records of all time because of their beliefs. What more can you tell me? Below is my father's father's information.
