Clinton Frasier Cure, 72, of route 30,Margaretville,died Thursday March 19,1992,at the Margaretville Memorial Hospital.
He was born Dec. 4,1919 at Pine Hill, the son of Obed and Luella(Lasher) Cure. He was married to Elma Votee,Aug. 18,1939 at Arkville.She died Nov. 23,1983.
He was employed at the Belleayre Ski Center in Highmount.He lived most of his life in Pine Hill and for the past three years had lived in Margaretville.
He was a member of the Esopus fish and game club and a member of the Big Indian and Pine Hill Fire Department.He was also a licensed New York State Guide.
He is survived by one daughter,Diane F. Amundsen of Margaretville;two sons, Clinton F. Cure,Jr, of Highmount and Vincent O. Cure of Pine Hill;seven grandchildren;one great grandson;two sisters,Mrs. Pearl VanValkenburg of Pine Hill, Mrs.Dorothy Schoonmaker of Napanoch;two brothers William Cure of Pine Hill and Harold Cure of Monroe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
