I am researching a branch of the Currie's who lived in Paisley, James and Elizabeth (nee Walker) Currie who lived in a 3 Maxwell street Paisley circa 1840/50 possible son of a Margaret Currie (clachan) who died at same address aged 55 in 1861. James had a son also called James Born 1840 in Paisley. I have further information regarding the decendents of this line but am having great difficulty ascertaining birth and death dates for this James Currie (my great great great great grandfather) and would hope to ascertain his birth death and parentage or further. Could you please help?
