Wow!! I'm very happy as well. Yes I have seen a picture of D'Los and he is white, my uncle says that he is Irish, something that my grandfather took great pride in. It seems more now that Susan Hawkins was Creole because Daevid would only answer if his name was said like this, though in English it is David. Daevid, is Creole. This leads me to be believe that Susan was Creole, but of what mixture I am unsure and I would like to get to the bottom of that also. Susan was very dark, my mother told me. I do have a picture of Papa Daevid, I will send it your email. I also have pictures of his brother Calvin Curvin and his sister Linnie Curvin, I will send those as well. I will see what I can find out about Edna. I do know that D'Los was working in Hamburg, MS when he took the photograph that my uncle has of him.
