Cuthberts in Jamaica

Trying to trace my roots. I know that my great grandfather came to Jamaica from Scotland with his brother and settled in Portland, Jamaica, with his part-Maroon wife (ie she was from a community built by freed slaves and blacks that were born free). Most of the geneology sites I 've seen only seem to cover the US. Can anyone help?
