According to information my aunt shared with me, William was married to Rachel Monteith, Sarah was their daughter. She married Benjamin Wise, who was left on the doorstep as and infant and raised by William and Rachel.. That mystery puts an end to further inquiry.I suppose.They would be my grandfather's great grandparents-- He took the name Benjamin Wise when he moved to Virginia from NC around 1900
