It was kind of you to try to transcribe the will-not so easy! I would love any photos you may take on your travels.
You may be interested in a Rootsweb archived mailing list that I found yesterday, dated 4 Jul 2007. It was from a Gail Collins from Ontario and she is related to Sarah Cutler (daughter of Thomas Cutler and Martha Bean), so definitely from our family. She has listed the following which I was very excited to read as I have been unable to find any ancestor prior to Thomas and Martha:
"Hello from Ontario, Canada
I am researching the above surnames in the Hayling area and hope someone else is also doing the same.
The Cutler's arrived in Hayling Island in 1734.
Thomas CUTLER & Martha BEAn mar'd 4 Nov 1766 - St Marys, South Hayling
Thomas CUTLER & Sarah MILES (Mills) 3 Apr 1734 - " "
Thomas CUTLER & Mary HEATHER 8 Sep 1700 - Southwick
John CUTLER & Mary BONE 19 Jan 1669 - Durley, South Stoneham
(to prove his last supposition)
Sarah CUTLER daughter of Thomas & Martha (m 1766) is the last of my line
She married John COUZENS 1794 and raised a family at Havant.
I have tried to contact her on the email addresses supplied but they are no longer active. (Gail if you read this I would love to contact you).
Jonyth, I hope this helps you too.
All the best,
