My ggrandfather, Jan Czaja, was first married to Johanna Bartodziej. After she died he married Frances Stanczewski in 1882. He was born in Jan of 1842 in Gornym Slasku, Poland and immigrated in about 1867. Children by first marriage were Paulina (1870), Adam (1871), Frank {1873), Peter (1875), and Julius (1880). Children by second wife were Martha (1883 and my grandmother), Veronika (1887), Leon (1889), Rosalia (1891), Clara (1893), Helena (1896), Gertruda (1898), Jan (abt 1900), Adam (1905), and Edward (abt 1905).

I have information on these individuals and their immediate descendants. Am looking for where they came from in Poland and any descendants living today. When I was a child I attended a large family reunion in Algonquin, IL at a home owned by Leon Czaja.
