I may have some information for you.
My Grandfather was born in a little village near Tarnow - Lukowa. His name is Jozef Czarnik. He had 8 brothers and sisters. I believe he has a brother in Chicago.
His father was born in USA but the family returned to Poland. Either before or after the WWII my Great Grandfather took the 4 oldest children to US Embassy to get them US citizenship, but my family didn't know about it until 1989.
My Grandfather has lived for a couple of years in Southbridge, MA but returned to Poland few years ago.
